The Ugandan German Cultural Society was founded in 1989, with the major aim of strengthening and promoting the growth of bilateral co-operations between the people of Uganda and Germany and to promote the local art scene. Since 2006, the organization has been an official cooperation partner of the Goethe-Institut.
They host regular cultural activities such as the Ngalabi Short Film Festival, African Modernism exhibition, Azulato Children’s Festival and performances and artist get-together on their rooftop in Bukoto street. For more info on their programme check https://goethezentrumkampala.org/
