The Square is a space that nurtures and supports innovation, creativity, the arts, culture and storytelling. Some of their annual events include Kampala Design Week, Writivism – Literature Festival, Uganda Press Photo Awards and the SWARM tech summit.
The rooftop event space encompasses 1000sqm. It is a versatile space -a blank canvas- for event organisers to create unique experiences. The space has been used for small and large concerts and workshops. It has been used as a TV/Radio studio, for commercials and photoshoots, for Kampala Fashion Week and as a theatre space for Kampala International Theatre Festival. The also host press conferences and launch events and training seminars.
The rooftop terrace boasts a fully stocked bar where the resident mixologist creates cocktails to suit your mood or occasion. Alongside the bar is an open kitchen equipped with all the tools of the trade. More info can be found on: https://thesquare.place/
